Who this is not for
If you run a property maintenance company with several vans, planned maintenance contracts and an office that issues job sheets and invoices, that is field service software and inflow does not do it. inflow also does not decide which jobs are yours to take. A new circuit or a distribution board is restricted electrical work that by law needs a Registered Electrical Contractor, and gas work needs a Registered Gas Installer; those calls stay with you, though the way you have explained them to customers before can shape the draft. It handles the conversation that gets you to the door, then steps aside.
Who it is built for
You are a handyman with one van, or a pair of you, and you answer your own messages. Flat-pack, curtain poles, tap washers, doors that catch, patched plaster, a tiled splashback, grab rails, the like-for-like switch swap, and the jobs too small for a builder to ring back about. A good share of the work is landlords: the 2019 rented housing standards oblige them to keep windows, doors, gutters, fittings and furnishings in good repair, so a list arrives with every changeover. Enquiries are lists, not single jobs, most with photos, and the handyman who replies first with a day and a price for the lot gets the keys.
