Weighing up a Simpro alternative?Start with the size of the business.

Simpro is field service management software for a company with an office: estimating and quoting, scheduling and dispatch, inventory and purchasing, invoicing, reporting, and a mobile app for the crew, with accounting integrations underneath. Its own pricing page says it suits businesses with five to two hundred staff, and the price comes from a sales call. If you are the one answering the phone from the van, most of that is for a business you do not run yet. inflow is a lead inbox. Every enquiry from WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, email and the website form lands in one feed, a reply is drafted in your own words, and the quote goes back into the same thread.

Why people look

Why people go looking for a Simpro alternative

01

There is no price on the page

Simpro's pricing page shows no figure from Ireland. It says pricing is tailored to team size and the add-ons you choose, billed monthly or annually, and asks you to request a personalised quote. The same page says there is an initial setup fee for onboarding, training and data migration, priced on the complexity of your business, with implementation consultants who can spend days at your office. That is the right shape for a firm with a manager and a service desk. It is a lot of process for a business whose whole pipeline lives on one phone.

02

It is built for the office, and the crew it dispatches

The base plan on Simpro's pricing page lists quoting and estimating, field and contractor scheduling, real-time inventory and purchasing, field operations, invoicing and payments, accounting and finance, and reporting, and it is multi-company compatible. Add-ons cover digital forms, maintenance planning, takeoffs, fleet tracking and VoIP. Lead management, on the features page, means managing prospective customers and reporting on jobs won. None of that is the message that arrived at ten last night with three photos attached.

03

Messaging means SMS from the office

Simpro advertises an SMS add-on: office to field technicians, contractors and customers by text message, scheduled and tracked in Simpro Premium. Its pricing, features and home pages do not mention WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger or a shared message inbox. For most Irish trade businesses, WhatsApp and Instagram are where the enquiries arrive, and the reply that wins the job is written by the owner, not sent from a desk.

One inbox

Every enquiry in the one list, newest first

WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, email and the website form arrive in a single feed. The Unanswered tab is the honest count of who is still waiting, and the Quoted tab shows who already has a price. No service desk, no dispatcher, one phone.

Who should stick with Simpro

If you run a service company with an office, several vans, stock to manage, maintenance contracts to plan and a finance team that needs reporting, Simpro is built for that and inflow is not trying to be. Its scheduling, dispatch, inventory, purchasing, multi-company and accounting integrations are the point, and the implementation project is part of buying it. inflow has none of it. A firm that size might still put inflow on the owner's phone for the messages that arrive outside the service desk.

Who should choose inflow

You are the business. Enquiries arrive on WhatsApp and Instagram at least as often as by phone or form, you price from the van or after dinner, and nobody dispatches you. You do not want a sales call, a setup fee and a migration to answer a message faster. That is the business inflow is built for.

Quick questions

Before you decide

Is inflow a replacement for Simpro?

Only for the front end. inflow has no scheduling, no inventory, no dispatch, no invoicing and no accounting sync. What it replaces is the gap between the first message and the quote: the enquiries, the replies and the price.

How does inflow's pricing compare?

Simpro publishes no price from Ireland and quotes each business after a call, with a setup fee on top. inflow is one monthly price with everything in it, cancel anytime. The number is announced at launch, in euro, and everyone on the waitlist hears it first.

Can I run inflow alongside Simpro?

Yes. inflow catches the enquiry and gets the quote out. Once the customer says go, the job carries on in Simpro or whatever you use today.

Does anything send without me seeing it?

No. Every reply and every quote waits for your tap. If you do not send it, it does not go.

If you are the one answering, not the one dispatching

inflow is the lead inbox for Irish trade businesses. First access goes to the waitlist, in order.
